Excellent!
I have been using google earth and google maps for so many years! These apps are really something so lovable and useful at the same time! You can travel around the world and see it like you walk there from your kitchen!! I totally recommend it!!! It is a nice app with a great background work. Keep it up lads!
iPad version is buggy
On the iPad we cannot load any kml or kmz files. They’re all grayed out, no matter the source we try to load them from. Local storage / iCloud Drive / Google drive / whatever. On the iPhone I can load the same exact files from the same sources without any problem. On the iPad nothing.
Also, under Projects I cannot see the projects I’ve created in Google Chrome under my account.
Why we need to use Chrome in the first place to create these projects in our account is a totally different story, but I guess we all know why: assimilation. To force us to use a browser we otherwise may not prefer at all
Best app out there
This app is the only reason I’m passionate about geography. I use it at least once a day.
